04-12-2011 Barnett Receives Contract for OCCY Study

Dr. John Randall Barnett (fourth from left), assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, has received a $35,000 contract from the Oklahoma Commission on Children and Youth (OCCY). Barnett’s project is a self study for the OCCY to study strengthening custody and transition services. With Barnett are (from left): Dr. Gary Theilen, OCCY Planning and Coordinating Division; Dr. Jim Hunsicker, chair of the SWOSU Psychology Department; SWOSU Provost Dr. Blake Sonobe; SWOSU President Randy Beutler; Dr. Lori Gwyn, director of sponsored programs at SWOSU; and Dr. Ken Rose, dean of the College of Professional and Graduate Studies.
