Over the years, the task of putting together the Mythopoeic Society's annual convention has become more and more a matter of routine. Certainly, each year and each location pose its own individual problems and features its own particular advantages. But since the first Mythcon (held at Harvey Mudd College just to the north of the Scripps campus, in 1970), particularly through the guidance of the chairman, Glen GoodKnight, a growing body of experience has been represented in the planning of conventions.
