This study explores the marketing strategies employed by EPIC Global Solutions to raise awareness about the dangers of sports betting. Highlighting the work of the Epic Global Solutions and their principle “Through lived experience, we deliver solutions to help prevent the destructive effects of gambling-related harm” the study amplifies the efforts of EPIC Global Solutions to prevent the growth of gambling in both collegiate and professional sports. To assess the effectiveness of these efforts, we identified the analytics of their social media engagement which aims to spread awareness about the detrimental effects of sports gambling. Through focusing on their promotional tactics, message framing, audience engagement, and the impact of their content on raising awareness about the risks associated with sports betting. Findings suggest that EPIC's marketing efforts, while impactful, face challenges in addressing misconceptions and resistance within the sports community. The study emphasizes the need for continued refinement of digital marketing tactics to expand reach and foster deeper engagement with at-risk audiences.
