Caption: “HONOLULU, HAWAII – Apollo 10, suspended on its three main chutes, carrying Astronauts Tom Stafford, John Young, and Gene Cernan, splashed down four miles from the prime recovery ship USS Princeton. The spacecraft touched down in the South Pacific 15.01 South Latitude 154.41 West Longitude, completing a Lunar orbit mission of 192.03 hours. This was the second U.S. manned orbit mission of 192.03 hours. This was the second U.S. manned orbital flight to the moon, paving the way for a Lunar landing mission this summer.”
