KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLA. – ASTP mission commander Thomas Stafford looks up at the rain pouring down after his arrival at Patrick Air Force base. Stafford was the first of the ASTP crew to arrive at KSC from Houston for the American portion of the ASTP launch scheduled for 3:50 p.m. on July 15.
