KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLA. – ASTP astronaut Thomas Stafford suited up in the suit room of the KSC’s Manned Spacecraft Operations Building. Earlier, Stafford and fellow crewmen Vance Brand and Donald Slayton watched the Soyuz launch during their pre-launch breakfast. After suiting, the crew walked to the transfer van for the trip to the launch pad.
