ASTP – The two crews of the joint U.S.-USSR ASTP docking in Earth orbit mission were Astronauts Thomas P. Stafford, commander of the American crew; Vance D. Brand, command module pilot of the American crew; and Donald K. Slayton, docking module pilot of the American crew; and Cosmonauts Aleksey A. Leonov, commander of the Soviet crew; and Valeriy N. Kubasov, engineer of the Soviet crew.
