ASTP SOVIET RECOVERY ACTIVITY – The prime crewmen of the Soviet representation for the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project (ASTP) sign autographs beside the Soyuz 19 descent vehicle after a soft landing northeast of the town of Arkalyk in Kazakhstan at 13:51 (Moscow time) on July 21, 1975. They are Cosmonauts Aleksey A. Leonov (far right), commander; and Valeriy N. Kubasov, left, engineer. Officers of the Soviet Space Program and newsmen are seen in the background. The NASA Apollo spacecraft was still in Earth orbit at this time.
