Abstract
Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s “White” team will play Oklahoma City University’s “White” team in the championship match of the 2013 fall semester Mind Games academic competition this Sunday, January 12. The match will air at 6:30 p.m. on KSBI-TV in Oklahoma City. SWOSU’s team advanced to the finals by defeating the SWOSU “Blue” team in the semifinals. With both SWOSU teams in the semifinals, the two combined to win $1,840 in scholarship money for just the one night of action. Dr. Fred Gates, professor of history at SWOSU, said it was a great night with both SWOSU teams advancing to the semifinals, guaranteeing that a SWOSU team would be in the championship match.
