Tara Havins (right) won a reference book at a recent launch party for Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s Dr. Victoria Gaydosik (left), who was celebrating the publication of her first book, “20th-Century British Novel.” Displays of novels by writers throughout the British Commonwealth were showcased at the reception, which featured British-themed finger foods prepared by Gaydosik’s sister and chef, Samantha Nunnery. A copy of the book was also presented to the Al Harris Library on the SWOSU campus. Gaydosik is an associate professor in the SWOSU
