Description
Southwestern Oklahoma State University students Sarajane Bidwell, Alex Corder and Lauren Helmke work on clothing during a scene from The Women of Lockerbie that will be featured October 6-8 on the Weatherford campus. After the crash of Pan Am 103 in 1988, the women of Lockerbie, Scotland, set up a laundry project to wash 11,000 articles of clothing belonging to the victims that were found in the plane’s wreckage. Once the clothes were washed, the women packed and shipped them to the victims’ families around the world. Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. nightly in the Old Science Building Auditorium. Tickets are $3 for adults, $1.50 for non-SWOSU students, and free for those holding an SWOSU I.D.
