Chesapeake Scholars at Southwestern Oklahoma State University for the 2007-08 year were recently announced on the Weatherford campus. Chesapeake Energy Corporation Scholarship Coordinator Alison Mainers (front middle) was on the campus to make the $1,000 scholarships to 10 SWOSU students. The scholarships are part of an additional $50,000 donation from Chesapeake to SWOSU. The gift brings the total scholarship commitment from Chesapeake to $75,000.
