These Southwestern Oklahoma State University junior and senior nursing students worked in the medical tent of the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon held April 29. The medical tent was stationed at the finish line. SWOSU nursing faculty member Daphne Burnett said the students saw 150 patients during a six-hour time frame. The students fluid resuscitated the runners and actually had two patients transported to St. Anthony's Hospital for further care. Participating were (front from left): Geraldine Piteruchu, Erin Evans and Lexie Alonzo. Middle--Holly Lodes and Reesey Russel.
