Description
Southwestern Oklahoma State University student Heather Matz (center) of Weatherford received a $5,000 scholarship for the 2007-08 school year from Weatherford’s Masonic Lodge. According to Lodge member David Altland (right), the Masonic Lodge voted to raise the scholarship from $1,500 per semester to $2,500 per semester. The lodge selects only students attending SWOSU who are working to complete bachelor’s degrees. The Lodge has been helping students since the 1999 fall semester.
