Rick Lowell, Private Eye: The Stuff that Dreams are Made Of - Part 1
Jessica Salmans
Anthony E. Palermo’s Rick Lowell, Private Eye – ‘The Stuff That Dreams are Made Of’ will air live on 95.5 FM The Coyote from the SWOSU Hilltop Theatre. The radio show will be staged and broadcast over three different nights: Part I on October 22, Part II on October 29 and Part III on November 5 at 7 p.m. nightly.
The play is a detective story set in 1942 Los Angeles. Palermo said that besides being a paraphrase from Shakespeare’s The Tempest, ‘the stuff that dreams are made of’ was also the final line of the 1941 Humphrey Bogart picture, The Maltese Falcon. In that film, several crooks were conniving to possess an antique, foot-high statue of a falcon – made of solid gold and covered with rare jewels. -
