The Normal

The Normal is a discontinued historical publication about the Southwestern Oklahoma Territorial Normal School (1903-1920). It was produced by Dr. Joe Anna Hibler, President of the University during the 1990s. It reproduces articles and illustrations from early Southwestern publications. This collection includes all nine issues of the newsletter with their supplements.

The official description of the newsletter follows,

"The Normal is offered each semester to promote an interest in the historical development of Southwestern with special emphasis on the early years when the institution functioned as a normal school."
