CAPE KENNEDY, FLA. – Gemini Vi astronauts (L – R) Walter M. Schirra, Jr., command pilot and Thomas P. Stafford, pilot, ride the elevator at complex 19 to the white room where they will enter the spacecraft for simulated tests. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration plans a two-day flight mission for Gemini VI for the astronauts to develop the technique to rendezvous and dock with the Agena stage.
