CAPE KENNEDY, FLA. – The Gemini 6 prime crew walk down the ramp at Pad 19 following simulated flight test activity. Astronauts Walter M. Schirra, Jr., (in front), command pilot and Thomas P. Stafford, pilot, are preparing for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s planned two-day Gemini 6 space mission. They are wearing the five-layer pressure suit which is similar to the type worn by the Gemini 5 crew.
