THIRD MANNED APOLLO CREW - The prime crew members of Apollo 9 are (left to right) James A. McDivitt, commander; David R. Scott, command module pilot. The Apollo 9 mission is the first manned test of the lunar module. The flight is scheduled up to ten days duration in earth orbit.
