Bulldog Wellness ... goals and vision
The goal of SWOSU Bulldog Wellness is to encourage all members of the SWOSU community to lead and maintain a healthy lifestyle and to promote lifelong learning with access to the wellness activities and programs offered by the SWOSU campuses in Weatherford and Sayre. Wellness is a lifelong pursuit and sometimes we all need a little encouragement. SWOSU Bulldog Wellness offers the assistance you need through programs, activities and resources that support the health and well-being of SWOSU faculty, staff, and retirees.
BULLDOG WELLNESS INCLUDES:
- Campus and health system wellness activities
- Programs and support from SWOSU's benefits providers
- An incentive program administered by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma, open to eligible faculty, staff, and retirees
- Online wellness coaching offered by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma

National Safety Month
Injuries are the leading cause of death for Americans ages 1 to 44. The good news? Everyone can get involved to help prevent injuries. During National Safety Month, SWOSU is working with community members to help reduce the risk of injuries. This June, we encourage you to learn more about important safety issues like preventing poisonings, transportation safety, and slips, trips, and falls.

National Public Health Week
Join in observing National Public Health Week from April 1-7, 2019 and become part of a growing movement to create the healthiest nation in one generation. During the week, we will celebrate the power of prevention, advocate for healthy and fair policies, share strategies for successful partnerships and champion the role of a strong public health system. Each day of NPHW 2019 will focus on a public health topic. Hoping each topic will spark new conversations and engage new participants in the community. The desk has a two-tiered design with separate keyboard/mouse deck and a spring-assisted lift mechanism that allows for easy access when either sitting or standing.
