Call for Proposals
We welcome papers and presentations from a variety of disciplines and in all languages. Panel session proposals and poster submissions are also encouraged. We especially encourage undergraduate and graduate student research.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- research and analysis of language in the humanities
- pedagogies for interdisciplinary teaching and learning
- storytelling (e.g., oral and written traditions, poetry, literature
- language and music (e.g., songwriting, language rhythms and musical structures
- performing language (e.g., cultural identity through theater and opera
- visual narratives (e.g., visual form of language, aesthetics of multilingualism in media and art
- preservation of language (e.g., endangered languages, archives, museums)

Once your proposal is submitted, a confirmation message will be sent to the email associated with your Digital Commons account. Although the submission portal will remain open, acceptance notifications for the convention will begin going out in early January 2026.
