This article critiques Kristine Larsen’s Science, Technology, and Magic in THE WITCHER: A Medievalist Spin on Modern Monsters. Larsen’s wide-ranging discussion views the Witcherverse through several critical lenses and explores the ways this modern myth speaks to some important questions of ethics, science, and philosophy. The review evaluates Larsen’s coverage of the full expanse of the transmedia Witcher phenomenon.
